Sicily, Festival Mall, Alabang

Checked-out this newly opened restaurant at Festival Mall, Alabang called Sicily.  Ever the Pizza and Pasta lover, We decided to sample their menu. The ambiance was simple, yet had a homey feel to it.  The place was painted mostly white with a touch of green accents, which was nice since you could see the cleanliness of the place and could immediately see any dirt that could accumulate on it's immaculate white tables and walls.  The tables and chairs where surprisingly comfortable to sit-on and enjoy your meal with family and friends.

For our order We got a  12" wide thin crust Pizza Reale for Php 249.  My family really loved the pizza as it was already gone even before I could take a picture of it.  The pizza was prepared on the spot from the pizza dough crust, to the toppings, and actual cooking. The Pizza was prepared on the counter in plain view of customers so you could see the freshness and preparation of your food.  It's probably best eaten hot to preserve it's freshness and flavor as Pizza's do tend to become stale when heated. We were able to finish the entire pizza in one seating.  It's always nice to eat food that are filling but not heavy on the stomach.

We also ordered Spaghetti Alla Bolognese for Php 159 for our pasta and a scoop each of Strawberry and Cookies and Cream Ice Cream for Php 60/scoop for the kids.  The Ice cream must have tasted pretty good as it was already gone before We could even taste it. Overall it was a nice ending to a wonderful Sunday spent with the family.

I really love this restaurant. You'll feel full after you eat but not too heavy to feel bloated! :)
