Decided to go to SM Southmall during my lunch break for an errand. While my wife was paying bills at BDO. My son and I stayed at Burgoo SM Southmall to order for lunch. This was our first time to try out Burgoo's, but the placed look so nice with tall windows to accommodate natural lighting. The place actually looked a little bit like Friday's with a more lighter and brighter ambiance. Good thing they were offering a buy 1 get 1 promo for selected items on that day which made our choice a little bit easier.
We got a Regular Barbecue Chicken for Php 395 and tried their Burgoo Kebabs for our get 1 which looked really good.
My Son was not really a fan of Kebabs but He really liked their rice and corn which came with the meals.
Though We don't usually order drinks when We dine-out, our Son wanted to try-out their strawberry drink which works pretty well with the grilled items.
They cover the table with a sheet of paper, so your child could knock themselves out by drawing on the sheet of paper using crayons while you wait for your food. Sadly, We forgot to ask if We could take the paper home with us.
We also tried their Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert which costs around Php 155. It looked so good that my Son was already taking bid chunks of the pie even before I got a chance to take a picture.
Over all We paid around Php 1000++ for the entire meal which is pretty much around the same range for these type of restaurants and seems pretty decent for 2 adults and 1 child. Had a great meal at Burgoo SM Southmall, we'll definitely come back to try-out their Pizza's, Burgers and Pastas.
