Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center Tanay, Rizal

Stayed at Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center with my family during a recent trip to Tanay, Rizal.  Situated in an area with a view overlooking the Rizal and other neighboring areas. Though the place seems more suitable for large groups of people, events and team building activities.  Bakasyunan Resort still provided our kids other options for activities in the event of rain or other unfortunate events that may happen during our trip.  Never-the-less, we had a restful and relaxed stay at the resort.

Situated within a 15 hectare forest property with a strategic location overlooking the Sierra Madre mountains, Laguna de bay, and other neighboring areas.  Aside from the standard pool and accommodations, Bakasyunan Resort is also equipped with  with various outdoor activities consisting of ATV rides, wall climbing, horseback riding, zip line, and rappel, among others.   But take note that availing of these activities are not free.

Availed of the Private Room which costs about Php 3500 per night (no breakfast included).  The room is spacious and comfortable enough for a family of 2 Adults and 3 small children.  No free water or water heaters included.  The room is fully air conditioned and equipped with a flat screen t.v. but only local channels are available for viewing.

A small table and a few chairs are also available for dinning. Food is average and there is no room service.  Good thing, we still had some left over food during our lunch at Lorenzo's Grill which is  just near the place.

Bathroom is clean, but there are no toiletries available.  Better bring a piece of rope also where you can hang your wet clothes, in case you decide to go for a swim.

I would also suggest you book accommodations near the hotel and pool area to save yourselves from a steep climb.

Overall, had a well rested stay.  We even decided to turn-off the air conditioning and open the windows as the cool air was enough.
