Kidzville Party @ The Podium

My kids got invited to an animal costume party at Kidzville located at the 4th flr. of the Podium.   The kids were so excited, as this was the first time they attended a costume party.  Kidzville is actually managed by Cosmic Kidz, the same one located in SM MOA.  If you've ever attended a birthday party at Cosmic Kidz @ SM MOA the set-up and it just happened that the Emcee was the same person who hosted the party We attended about a year ago.  The party area was very spacious, the food was good enough with ample portions, the loot bags were nice, my kids had a great time and you get unlimited playtime in their playmaze and Kids Town with various themes.  Was very tired after the party but had a blast with my kids.  My son wouldn't have won the best costume contest for boys, if We didn't attend.   Thanks a lot for our friends who invited us to attend their son's 1st Birthday Party @ Kidzville.

Congo Grille Westgate Alabang

Had our company Christmas Party last December 23 at Congo Grille Westgate Alabang.  We chose Congo Grille as they offer party packages for small groups of 10-15 persons.   For less than Php 4000 you can set-up a party package good for 10 persons.  Add another Php 2000 and you can get an additional party package good for 5 more persons.  So for less than Php 6000, We were able to set-up a party package for 15 persons minus the hassles of food preparation and  looking for a venue.  Not bad for a small office consisting of 11 persons.  We also decided to reserve an enclosed space inside Congo Grille to make our Christmas Party more private.  We also reserved use of their sound system, which is of course free of charge and inclusive of the party package. We paid a deposit of Php 2000 for reservations and We were all set for the Christmas Party.  It also helped that We made our reservations at least a month before the actual event so We were given exclusive use of the only enclosed area in Congo Grille.

The enclosed area is big enough to accommodate a group of 10-15 persons. We were still able to use the area to hold some games and activities. Although We were not able to secure the sound system as originally promised, We brought our own speakers and MP3 player to the venue.  Cheers to Technology.

Party Venues in Alabang

Searching for the ideal Party Venue can become quite a challenge, specially during Holiday s and peak seasons.  The size of the attendees also comes into play as the usual size for each event usually ranges from 50 pax and up.  Arranging a party for a small group of people (5-10 persons), requires extra creativity. Luckily there are now establishments that cater to these types of gatherings.  To give you some help, here are a list of restaurants in the Alabang area that offers party packages for small groups of 5-10 persons:

Cosmic Kidz Party @ SM MOA

Was invited to attend a birthday party at Cosmic Kidz in SM MOA.  Place seemed nice and space is good enough to accommodate at least 150 guests with enough space to hold games and activities.  For  Php 25,000, you get a party package of meals for 50 paxs w/ iced tea, loot bags, inclusive of emcee, 2 mascot appearances and what’s great about this is you get free play for  1 ½  hrs. on the Cosmic Kidz play area for 30 kids.  Entrance for adults accompanying kids below 3yrs. old are free of charge.  This is a nice deal as it is a hassle free way of preparing for your kids special day.  Food is okay, nothing special, but serving is big.  Loot bag items are nice, not the traditional candy and small items.  Two mascots are nice, but they could have washed the costumes as they were quite dirty and scared some of the kids.  However, it was a fun day and our kid enjoyed playing inside the Cosmic Kidz play area.

Cosmic Kidz Play Area Rates:

30 Minutes – Php 180

One Hour – Php 250

Unlimited Play – Php 480

Extension (every 30 minutes) – Php 180

Adult Pass (none play/ 1 adult per kid) – Php 120

Socks – Php 30

Some things to consider inside the play area:

• Children and adults must wear socks while inside the play area.
• Children under three (3) years of age must be supervised by an adult within the play area.
• All footwear must be deposited at the shoe deck before playing.
• Bags and other personal belongings are not allowed in the play area.

Fun Ranch Alabang Party

Been considering to hold my sons 7th Birthday at Fun Ranch Alabang. Last Sunday we were invited to attend a Birthday Party at Fun Ranch Alabang. The size of the party area is spacious and well ventilated to accommodate 100 guests and up. The program area is big enough to hold games, programs and activities without becoming too crowded. You could even place food carts, souvenir booths, and a photo booth inside. I'm not sure if your allowed to select your own caterer, but the food and servings are okay. I would suggest that you select your own emcee to give more variation to you party. As a bonus you even get free 30 mins. of playtime for the kids. However, you have to buy an extra Php 125 per adult companion. Overall, Fun Ranch Alabang is a good party venue worth considering. 

The party area comes equipped with a play area. So guest could play while waiting for the party to start or when the kids get bored.

Esquivel's Garden & Resort San Pedro Laguna

A few weeks ago We decided to celebrate my daugther's 1st Birthday at Esquivel's Garden & Resort San Pedro, Laguna, instead of deciding to celebrate my daughters 1st Birthday via traditional fast food chains, such as Jollibee, McDonald's, Burger king, Shakey's Pizza, Pizza Hut, etc. Since it was my daughters 1st ever Birthday party, We wanted it to be a bit more special so we decided to have it via pool side, so guests could also take a swim after enjoying the party.  You could also rent the resort for day and over night swimming. However, the size and area of Esquivel's Garden & Resort makes it more suitable as a function or party venue.

With landscaped gardens and a variety of flora and fauna. Esquivel's Garden & Resort is ideal for parties and functions.

Maximize the available space by placing extra chairs and tables beside the pool area.  This will also give your guests an option to have a more scenic view beside the pool and garden. Just make sure to place tents in the event that it rains.

Cool down or have a picnic under their nipa huts.

The pool water is clean and seems to be regularly replaced as the smell of chlorine is not strong and itchy to the skin.
