Nova Shell Museum
which is located near Alona Beach in Panglao town Center houses a collection of
shells within the Philippines and around the world. Sea shells doesn’t mean
those commonly seen along the beach, but the rare ones and which can only be
seen in deep waters. I know, at least once in your life, you’ve collected some
sea shells on your trip to the beach. If
your amazed on what you’ve seen, you’ll marvel at their collection of rare shells.
No Shell collection won't be complete without a shell that attracts other shell's to itself...
Shell's don't just come in different designs, but apparently, in the colors of the rainbow...
Fossilized giant clams get up close and personal...
The smallest, rarest and most expensive shell in the collection. as it can only be found at a depth 150-200 meters below sea level...
Aside from the shell collections, Nova Shell Museum also holds a small collection of antiques...
The tour comes with a guide who is very informative and helpful during the visit. We've learned a lot of things about shells during our visit. They also have a souvenir shop selling products locally made from shells and pearls at a reasonable price. They also have a tree house where you can climb, relax, and enjoy the fresh air while enjoying the view.
