The Clarin Ancestral House, located in the town of Loay, Bohol, is the heritage house of the Clarin family.

The Clarin Ancestral House is the residence of Don Aniceto Velez Clarin, a former governor of Bohol. His son, Jose Aniceto Butalid Clarin became the first senator of the 11th district.

A house which stood and captured the passing of time for present and future generations to marvel and admire.

The Clarin Ancestral House is a classic Filipino-Spanish designed house, built with nipa hut roofs and wooden posts, floors, and walls.  A house has stood witness to the test of time and natural calamities.

Declared as a National Heritage site by the National Historical Institute.  The Clarin Ancestral House serves as a museum that contains family collections and memorabilia dating back to the American occupation...

The wall's to the house's entrance is painted with the mural of the Philippine governments seal, showing the family's nationalism and service to the country and its citizens.

Wooden furniture's and common everyday items give us a glimpse of how people lived during their time...

A uniform used by American soldiers during that time.

A replica of the Spolarium adorns their wall...

They also have a replica of The Blood Compact...

Kitchen tools and utensils used during those times...

A basin used for washing your hands and face...

An adjustable dinning table which also serves as a meeting table...

This was the bomb, before flat screen LCD and Plasma TV's were invented...

Below is Cafe Olegario, a restaurant that serves native Boholano Delicacies.  It also has a stunning and relaxing garden that can be rented for events and functions.

Native Chicken and Crabs are among the specialties of the house. However, you have to make reservations in advance as the Crabs come from holes underground and usually comes out at night.
