The Mind Museum at Taguig

Had a chance last Friday to join my sons educational trip at The Mind Museum in Taguig along with his CFA schoolmates.  Was really looking forward to this day and almost didn’t make it due to commitments at work, as it was the first time We would be visiting The Mind Museum.  Originally, only my son and I would be joining the activity as my other 2 kids (aged 2 and 2 months)  were still too young to enjoy the exhibits and  besides the entrance fee was too expensive.  However, at the last minute my wife decided to bring the entire family. We got a discount for the tickets for the school activity, as We only paid for Php 600 for 1 child (Php 450) and a teacher (Php 150), since CFA was a home school. We needed 3 more tickets 2 for my wife and her sister and 1 for our little girl, who too tall to pass below 2 ft.  The regular ticket for adults is Php 600 and Php 450 for kids, so this meant that We’d have to pay an additional Php 1650 for the tickets. Good thing there was a promo for Student Price for All Ages during Tuesdays-Fridays.  However, there is a small catch to the discount.  You have to shoot on the spot a 20 second video telling them what you would like to invent and why?  Seems simple enough, so I gave it a shot and got a Php 150 discount for each adult ticket. So instead of paying Php 1650 for the additional tickets, We just paid Php 1350. Not bad, if I may say so myself.

Mercato Centrale @ Bonifacio Global City

Since my wife and I were at St. Luke's Global City for a doctor's appointment last Saturday, We decided to drop by Mercato Centrale for lunch.  We've heard about Mercato Centrale at Bonifacio Global City from a segment We saw on T.V. Ever the food lover's, We love going out in search of great tasting food with friends, family, and loved-one's. Mercato Centrale was only about two blocks away from St. Luke's Global City. We decided to take a casual walk to Mercato Centrale and arrived there a little past 12 P.M. Since they were open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. last Saturday, We only got to sample a selection of grilled items, organic fruits, and a selection of fruit drinks.  Never-the-less, We had a hearty meal and great conversation.  We'll Definitely go back for more.
