Metropolitan Museum of Manila (MET)

The Metropolitan Museumof Manila (MET), previously the Museo ng Banco Sentral ng Pilipinas is found along Roxas Boulevard within the BSP Complex near Ospital ng Maynila.  It contains a collection of paintings, sculptures, jewelry and pottery.  However, We came to the museum for the Money Matters for Kids exhibit.  After all, it’s never too early to introduce your kids to proper money management.

Museo Pambata

For years I've passed-by Museo Pambata but haven't really gotten a chance to take  a look inside.  Museo Pambata is right along Roxas Blvd. near The US Embassy.  For just Php 100 a person, you can get to visit the museum, see their exhibits and learn while having fun.  For an establishment that been here for a couple of years now, it's nice to see that the displays and exhibits have been relatively well maintained considering the physical abuse the displays get from curious kids and naugthy visitors.  The air con inside the museum was surprisingly cold , a welcomed relief from the hot weather outside. Museo Pambata schedules presentations and events that help teach your kids about the Filipino Culture and children's advocacy's.  They also have a Library where your kids can listen to Story Telling Sessions, read books or watch educational tapes to stimulate your child's imagination and curiosity through reading books.

Manila Ocean Park Discount Package

This is the 3rd time We've visited Manila Ocean Park since it formally opened a couple of years ago.  A lot of new attractions have been added aside from a variety of programs and shows where the whole family can watch and enjoy.  Come to think of it, you can actually spend an entire day at Manila Ocean Park if you'd be going to every attraction and watching the different shows, as they are spread at specific showing times throughout the day.  However, since We brought our 2 kids aged  5 and 2 with us , We decide to skip the shows due to their short attention spans.
